Chris commissioned these lovely pendants for his period home in Cambridge, previously owned by Kings College, and was delighted with the result:
“Really very pleased with our bespoke shades and the great fittings. They look really good and as you said they go exceptionally well together! They will be great little features of the house. Well done – and thank you for all your care, detail and craftsmen ship”.
Chris saw the table lamps I made to accompany the Sheila Bownas 1950s Edwin daybed in The Telegraph and wanted some pendants making in a similar vein for his hallways and bedroom.
We decided on some brilliantly bold powdecoated frames to complement the muted bright print of the shades’ internal lining and soft grey linen exterior.
My simple twisted textile cable and British brass fixtures pendants completed the lights.
I’m told a pair have been hung long and low in place of bedside lamps which I think would look fantastic.
