Patrick came to see my pop up shop in Covent Garden, liked what he saw and decided to commission a shade for a standard lamp base that was currently languishing in his East London home.
This commission just seemed to fall into place as there were so many lovely options to go with his room; all mid century furniture, gorgeous teal upholstery and a large graphic rug. Below are some of the swatches I sent over for his consideration.
Patrick initially liked the first option of teal wool with a graphic cotton lining but was a little concerned it may be too matchy with his teal upholstery. So I suggested a simple grey linen outer with the same graphic cotton lining and a punchy teal powdercoated frame to anchor it to the rest of the interior without being too obvious. He loved it.
